Mormons oppose ballot effort for medical cannabis legalization in Utah

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released a statement expressing its opposition to a ballot effort when it comes to legalization of medical cannabis into the state of Utah.

The LDS Church commended the Utah Medical in its two-paragraph statement Association for opposing the effort. But, the church would not criticize the legalization work clearly.

The Salt lake City-based church said they respect the health professionals’ smart counsel, indicating which they buy into the association’s that is medical place that medical cannabis would compromise the security plus the wellnessof communities within the state of Utah.
